Gas leak forces Baker HS to close Friday
BAKER - School officials said a problem with Baker High School's plumbing system is forcing them to close Friday.
Superintendent Ulysses Joseph said the school experienced a gas leak which was not dangerous, but they could not get it fixed in time for Friday classes.
The superintendent said the problem has been repaired, but it's taking long enough to repressurize everything that they had to cancel classes.
He indicated classes should resume Monday.
