BATON ROUGE - The American Planning Association announced Baton Rouge's Garden District as one of the 10 Great Neighborhoods for 2012.

APA's Great Places are an example of character and foster economic growth.

The area is also a popular location for movies and events as it is kept in historical significance.

News 2's Brittany Weiss will have more on what the award means for the district, and the city-parish, tonight at 4, 5 and 6.
