Fundraising for fire victims as school reopens
NEW ORLEANS - Fundraising efforts are under way for family members of three children and two adults killed in a New Orleans house fire.
Meanwhile, grief counselors were set to be on hand as classes resumed Wednesday at Andrew H. Wilson Charter School.
Three of the school's students died in the Tuesday morning fire. The school is just steps away from the house that burned.
The victims included 12-year-old Jade Anderson, 11-year-old Jason Anderson and 7-year-old Jala Anderson. The adults were 77-year-old Martha Anderson and 33-year-old Christina Squire.
