French Settlement boil order lifted
FRENCH SETTLEMENT - A precautionary boil water advisory to customers that live in French Settlement was lifted on Tuesday morning after samples analyzed for contamination by the Louisiana DHH laboratory were negative.
The French Settlement Water Co. issued the advisory to customers on Sept. 21 as precaution after a main water line broke on Hwy 16. The line break was repaired, but the boil advisory was put into place as required by the Louisiana DHH.
Investigative samples were pulled Monday and the advisory was lifted Tuesday morning.
If you have questions about the advisory, please contact the French Settlement Water Co. at (225)952-7602.
