WBRZ - Baton Rouge

DENHAM SPRINGS - Dentists from Livingston Parish and Baton Rouge gathered together today to provide free work for people in need.

Patients can get one free filling, extraction or cleaning on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event, part of a nationwide movement called "Dentistry from the Heart," was organized by Dr. Andrew Hood from Hood Dental Care. He said the last time they did this, more than 200 people came through to receive more than $60,000 in free dental work.
