Herman Frazier claims second man involved in 1990 murder
One man got 50 years for admitting he was involved in the murder of Tammy Bowers, but today he claimed in court a second man actually beat her to death in a case that rocked Ascension Parish two decades ago.
Tammy Bowers was murdered on her 19th birthday. Her body was found near Burnside in 1990. DNA evidence connected Herman Frazier to Bowers four years ago.
Today, Frazier pleaded guilty to manslaughter but claims Tolbert Morris was behind the attack. News 2’s Kristy Davis was there as deputies brought Morris in.
