Fraley delivers walk-off hit as LSU baseball sweeps Missouri on senior day
BATON ROUGE - After losing a lead in the 9th inning, Jake Fraley delieverd a walk-off single to lift the LSU baseball team to a 6-5 senior day win over Missouri.
In the process, LSU (43-8,19-7) earned a sweep over Missouri and boosted the conference lead for the Purple and Gold, who have a 1.5 game lead over Vanderbilt for 1st in the SEC standings.
LSU got off to a slow start as Missouri's Josh Lester lifted a 3 run home run to give the visiting Tigers a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning.
LSU finally got going, scoring 2 runs in the 4th and 5th, and getting a home run from Chris Chinea in the 6th to take a 5-4 lead.
LSU gave up the lead in the 9th, but Fraley responded with the game-winner in the 10th.
Before the game, LSU honored this year's senior class.
