NEW ORLEANS - At least two men drowned in Louisiana during the Fourth of July weekend - one in New Orleans and one in Alexandria. In New Orleans, a second man is in critical condition.

Alexandria police say the body of 56-year-old Henry Bernard Wilson of Alexandria was found Wednesday morning in the Red River near the Purple Heart Bridge.

New Orleans police have not released the names of a man in his 20s who died at a hospital after being pulled from Lake Pontchartrain or one in critical condition after going under in Bayou St. John.

Both incidents occurred around 4 p.m. Wednesday in New Orleans.
