ZACHARY- A man responding to a fire call was injured in a crash that closed one of the city's busier streets Monday night.

Three others were hurt when a pick-up and a sedan collided.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputies investigating the crash said the man was responding to a fire call when the crash happened. His name was not released.

At the time of the crash, Zachary and Baton Rouge fire departments were responding to reports of a fire at a plant along the river, off Mt. Pleasant Road. The call ended up being a false alarm.

The conditions of those involved in the crash have not been released.
