Four teens shot in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS - Four New Orleans teenagers, not old enough to drink or drive, have been shot.
All four teenagers under 15-years old were shot in the last 5 days.
The latest victim was a 13-year-old boy who was shot after getting off a school bus.
Police say he was caught in the crossfire of two groups firing at each other.
On Tuesday, a 14-year-old was shot in New Orleans' Central City neighborhood.
Last Friday night, 15-year-old Brandon Adams was shot and killed, on Monday, his girlfriend, also 15, was shot and killed.
Adams' mother said she's trying to grips with her son's murder.
"As a mother you want to fix all your kids problems. Well, how can I tell my other four babies, 'Mama can't fix this one.' How can I tell them that?"
New Orleans is well on its way to reaching last year's 199 murder rate with 65 murders this year.
No word on suspects in the shootings.
