DONALDSONVILLE - Sheriff's deputies arrested four more people in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old this past weekend.

Deputies said late Wednesday evening they arrested 19-year-old Andre Dunn of Donaldsonville, 19-year-old Chandon "Tonka" Nelson of St. James, and two juveniles. All face charges of being principal to second-degree murder.

Brisecon Jasmine, 19, died after the shooting Sunday night at an apartment complex in Donaldsonville. Deputies originally responded to reports of a large fight in the area, but instead found Jasmine suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Deputies previously arrested four other men in connection with the shooting, including 21-year-old Jakil Jones who was charged with second-degree murder.

Investigators said they believe Jasmine wasn't the intended target of the shooting, but a bystander who was hit by a stray bullet.

Deputies said their investigation was continuing, and anyone with information about the shooting could call them at (225) 621-INFO (4636) or by texting 847411 to their anonymous tip line.
