DONALDSONVILLE- Four people are behind bars, accused of breaking into a home in Ascension Parish.
Deputies say the family was home when six people broke in and forced them to the ground. They demanded their cell phones and money. The home owner arrived and accidentally interrupted the robbery. That's when the men ran away.
Deputies arrested Ray Bartholomew, Jr. who they said was hiding inside a vehicle in the area with a gun. Deputies also responded to a shooting after the home invasion call where they found Dezman Louper running down the street with a gunshot wound. Louper was later connected to the home invasion by investigators.
Jeremy Lucas and Joshua Vallery were also identified in the home invasion case, and later arrested.
Two more suspects are on the run. One is described as a light-skinned African-American male with shoulder length dread locks and a cross tattooed on his forehead between his eyes. The second suspect is also an African-American male. He is approximately 5'4 with short twists in his hair.
