Foul poles blown down at Alex Box Stadium
BATON ROUGE - Monday morning's severe weather caused some damage at Alex Box Stadium, where LSU is scheduled to host a baseball game Tuesday night.
The storm blew over the stadium's foul poles, knocking them into the field and the playground on the stadium grounds.
Head baseball coach Paul Mainieri met with administration officials this afternoon to discuss Tuesday's game, and said the Tigers will play with temporary foul poles instead.
The No. 1 Tigers (37-7, 14-6 SEC) are scheduled to face Alcorn State at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Baton Rouge.
