A former suspect in a Baton Rouge murder is back in jail, this time for a shooting on Chippewa Street.
Denako Duheart was arrested over the weekend, after police say he shot a man in the back two weeks ago.
District Attorney Hillar Moore feels confident in the state's case.
"The person knew him, identified him, it's based on his eye witness identification as to Mr. Duheart being his shooter...pretty cut and dry."
Duheart, his brother Dearius Duheart, and another man were all charged in the 2007 beating death of Jason Fourmy. Those charges were dropped after several witnesses were murdered.
