Update: Two former Southern University band members are enrolled at the school again, after a hazing incident last year.

Lagarian Bridgewater and Jeremy Dixon were accepted back into the University after reapplying.

They were indefinitely suspended after being named as suspects in the hazing of three band members.

Today Lagarian Bridgewater, Carlos-Andres Carter and Clifton Taylor pleaded no contest to conspiracy to commit battery and hazing charges. They were sentenced to two years supervised probation on charges of conspiracy to commit second degree battery and hazing. The three were also required to write two essays on hazing incidents.

The four other suspects, Jeremy Dixon, Harvey Harrison, Jospeh Webb, and Aubrey Harris are expected to enter similar pleas.

None of the seven have been reinstated to the band.
