Former La. high school football star pleads guilty in sex case
BATON ROUGE, La. - A former high school football player, who had committed to LSU but was arrested on a sexual assault charge last year, has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
19-year-old Jeremy Hill, a former Redemptorist High running back, pleaded guilty Friday to carnal knowledge of a juvenile, which is a misdemeanor.
He was originally charged with oral sexual battery.
The judge sentenced Hill to two-years probation.
He was arrested on Jan. 12, 2011.
Baton Rouge police said Hill and another student pressured a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex.
