Former La. governor Roemer considering Presidential run
BATON ROUGE - Former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer is considering a run for President in the next presidential election.
Roemer told WBRZ this morning that he "is looking hard at running for President." He has not officially decided to run for the office, but is currently exploring the option.
Roemer says he's "energetic" and looking forward to what the future may hold.
Roemer served as Louisiana governor from 1988-1992. Before that, he served as in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1981-1988, representing the 4th Congressional district.
