Former EBRSO employee arrested for stalking ex-girlfriend
BATON ROUGE - A former employee with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office has been arrested for Stalking, Defamation and Improper Telephone Communications.
According to reports, Ronald Gautreaux of Plaquemine, allegedly called his ex-girlfriend, wrote to her, and showed up at her home despite her telling him to stop.
The victim and a witness also stated that Gautreaux defamed her character by making untrue statements concerning illegal activity.
Gautreaux has been fired from the Sheriff's Office.
He was employed with the Sheriff's Office for the past 11 years working in security at the parish prison.
