Former cop wants to clean up Port Allen
PORT ALLEN- A former Baton Rouge Police officer wants to turn things around on the other side of the river.
Richard Lee said he will run to be mayor of Port Allen. Lee is a third generation resident of the city that has seen its share of controversy recently involving its former mayor, Deedy Slaughter.
"I want to bring everyone together, as one," he said.
He said he wants to get things done.
The primary election is in April.
