Florida pulls ahead of LSU 7-6 in 3rd Quarter

The Florida Gators have broken through in a defensive struggle, putting together an eight play, 75 yard drive capped off by a Mike Gillislee 12 yard touchdown run to lead 7-6.
The LSU offense has looked terrible for most of the first half, failing to earn a first down rushing or passing after their first series on the field.
The Tigers had good field position after the defense recovered a Florida fumble at the Florida seven yard line but failed to punch it in for a touchdown, instead settled for a 22 yard field goal from Drew Alleman, his second of the day.
