Floor collapse at Miss. church center; 35 hurt
LAUREL, Miss. - Some 70 teens dropped about 12 feet when the second floor of a Mississippi church collapsed during a youth service last night.
Authorities say 35 of them were hurt, but none of the injuries were serious.
Students at Freedom Baptist Church in Myrick say they could hear rumbling before the floor gave way.
Pastor Tommy Davis says, "God's hand was certainly taking care of the kids who were in that building."
