SATSUMA - People living in Brentwood Subdivision in Satsuma say water never got into homes before Hurricane Isaac.  Now some are dealing with flooding for the second time.

Heavy rains covered many roads around noon Thursday.  It was also in some homes.

Zeda Foster is not sure why it it happening; her air conditioner and generator were damaged by high water. She says culverts and ditches may need to be cleared, or another factor could be development on nearby property.

In Watson, Jerry Johnson says he moved his parents from their home at the intersection of Dunn Road and Netterville Road a few months ago. Water got inside the home this week. He says the home has flooded before during severe rain events, but it appears to be happening  more lately.

Livingston Parish authorities says 15 people had to be helped from cars stranded in high water Wednesday night.  Four others had to be helped as the rain continued Thursday.
