BATON ROUGE - Running back Leonard Fournette and right tackle Vadal Alexander are part of a group of five LSU Tigers who were picked for the Southeastern Conference Coaches’ All-SEC Teams, according to the conference Tuesday.

Joining Fournette and Alexander are junior center Ethan Pocic, junior cornerback Tre’Davious White and sophomore safety Jamal Adams who were all voted to the All-SEC Second Team. Fournette and Alexander appear at their respective positions in the First Team.

LSU’s five All-SEC selections ranks fourth in the league behind Alabama with 10, Ole Miss with seven and Texas A&M also with seven. The Florida Gators also earned five spots between the All-SEC First and Second Teams.

LSU wrapped up the season sitting at No. 20 with a record of 8-3. They’ll take on Texas Tech (7-5) in the 10th annual Advocate V100 Texas Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 29. It’ll be the third time the Tigers have met the Red Raiders and the first time since 1957. LSU sold out of their supply of tickets earlier on Tuesday.
