LIVINGSTON – Deputies in Livingston Parish say five people were arrested Wednesday in connection with recent car burglaries.

Sheriff Jason Ard reports that a gas generator, car stereo and tools were taken from two vehicles in the Watson area. Ard estimates that the items stolen are worth more than $1,000.

The following people were arrested:

Dillon Booth, 20 of 14360 Pine Ln. in Walker

David Monroe, 19 of 14360 Pine Ln. in Walker

Destiny Parker, 17 of 14360 Pine Ln. in Walker

Landon Keller, 26 of 32581 Perkins Rd. in Denham Springs

An unidentified juvenile

Ard said the individuals were arrested following a traffic stop on Fore Road near Watson.

“A witness, able to provide us with detailed information, led us to these suspects and stolen property,” Ard said. “We are grateful that our citizens choose to work with us to solve crimes in Livingston Parish.”

All of the individuals were transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center and charged with two counts of simple burglary.
