GONZALES - Kathleen Fitzpatrick pleaded no contest to charges that she ran over 22-year-old Crisy Hadley, killing her in Prairieville in 2010.
She entered the plea today as part of a deal with prosecutors that was arranged by the victim's mother, Monica Chambliss.
Chambliss told News 2 she asked prosecutors to offer the plea deal to Fitzpatrick because her daughter was a very forgiving person.
News 2's Michael Shingleton will have the details of what the plea entails tonight at 4, 5 and 6.
