First heart patients moved into new OLOL institute
BATON ROUGE - Fifty-one heart and critically ill ICU patients have been successfully moved into the new Heart & Vascular Institute at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Teams started moving the patients just before 6 a.m. Wednesday, and all patients were settled into their new rooms by 7:45 a.m.
The nine-story, 330-thousand square foot institute is equipped with 141 beds, four operating rooms and state-of-the-art cardiac technology.
