The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Freeze Warning from 3 AM to 7 AM this morning for the following Parishes and Counties in Mississippi: West Feliciana, East Feliciana, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Tammany, Pike, Amite and Wilkinson.

Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing for a few hours toward daybreak today for the mentioned Parishes and Counties. The rest of the viewing area will have very cold temperatures, but they are expected to remain at or just above freezeing.

A Freeze Warning means that sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions may kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

Be sure to cover or bring in any plants so they do not get buned by the frost. Also, have a warm place for pets.
