Firefighters tackle massive blaze in Hammond
HAMMOND - Several units responded to a 2-alarm fire at a structure in Hammond early Friday morning.
Crews responded to the 1000 block of Lovett Street just after midnight.
In total, five Hammond Fire Department units were required to put out the blaze.
Officials said the dwelling was unoccupied. No injuries were reported.
