Fire reported in French Quarter oyster bar
NEW ORLEANS - Firefighters said a fire broke out at Felix's oyster bar in the French Quarter Thursday morning.
According to WWL-TV, the two-alarm fire started around 8:30 a.m. at the restaurant at 739 Iberville near Bourbon Street.
A fire department spokesman said the fire started in the kitchen and spread up the vents. One firefighter burned their hand during the incident.
Streets were closed off in the area as of 9:45 a.m.
