A state forestry worker was burned while bulldozing a firebreak against a woods fire that started near Doyline and spread toward Haughton.
Bossier and Webster parish firefighters and state forestry workers spent more than seven hours containing the fire.
The Webster Parish Sheriff's Office believes the fire may have started from a trash fire that got out of control.
Webster Parish firefighters put out the trash fire Saturday night, but got a call Sunday morning saying it had re-ignited.
No houses or farm buildings were burned.
The U.S. Drought Monitor says South Webster and Bossier parishes are in an extreme drought.
