Fire: Overnight arson under investigation
BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Fire department says a house went up in flames overnight after a fire was intentionally lit.
The arson happened early Sunday morning at a vacant single family house on the 1500 block of Braddock Street, which is near the Louise Street on ramp to I-10 east.
Officials say the fire caused $45,000 worth of damage and took about half an hour to get the blaze under control.
No suspects have been named yet. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call fire investigators at 354-1419.
