Fire in woods slows traffic on I-12
LIVINGSTON- Traffic was slow leading up to Wednesday's evening rush due to a fire in the woods, a state traffic alert reported.
Traffic was described as very slow at 2 p.m. on I-12 eastbound near the Livingston exit. The smoke was causing significant issues between mile marker 24 and 25.
The fire in the woods on the south side of the interstate near Red Oak overpass was soon put out, but congestion on the interstate did not clear up until around 5 p.m.
