Fire erupts at plant, likely caused by lightning

GRAMERCY- A massive fire at a chemical company was likely sparked by lightning.  Fire fighters were able to bring the blaze at Rain CII under control.

Parish emergency responders tell News2 there were no evacuations or health risks due to the fire on Jefferson Highway.

According to media reports by a TV station in New Orleans, Highway 44 at the St. John/ St. James Parish lines was closed for sometime because of the flames.
