Fire damages three mobile homes on Victoria Drive
BATON ROUGE – The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a fire that damaged three mobile homes over the weekend.
The fire took place on Saturday, Oct. 15 around 3 a.m. in the Big Oaks Mobile Home Park in the 3700 block of Victoria Drive. Once firefighters arrived on scene, three mobile homes were already engulfed in flames.
According to BRFD, the fire is believed to have started in the mobile home located in the middle of the three homes and quickly spread to the adjacent ones. No one was living in the trailers at the time.
Damages caused by the fire are estimated to be worth $24,000. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
