WBRZ - Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE- A house caught on fire and flames spread to two neighboring homes Wednesday evening.

Fire fighters were called to a house on Heartwood Drive, off Millerville.

A second home home was damaged by the heat of the flames. At the third, flames jumped into a second floor bedrooms and an attic space.

Fire fighters said the first house to catch fire was vacant. The cause is still under investigation.
