Fire: Arson in Baton Rouge Saturday morning
BATON ROUGE - Arson is believed to be the cause of an early morning house fire in Baton Rouge Saturday morning, according to the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
It happened on the 3900 block of Billops street off 39th street just before 6 a.m. Fire officials say there were four spots around the house where the arsonist attempted to start a fire.
Officials say the fire was put out in about five minutes, before much damage was done.
The fire is still under investigation.
