Finally, road closed signs to be removed at Woodlake Bridge
BATON ROUGE- Finally, after some two years, people will once again be able to cross a bridge that links them with the rest of the road.
The Woodlake Drive Bridge is partially open and will fully reopen next week. It's been closed since May 2012 and the construction project over Jones Creek has had delay after delay.
Engineers blamed weather and utility relocation for the lengthy process.
Crews had to demolish the old bridge before a new one could be built.
