BATON ROUGE - The search committee organized to vet candidates for the LSU president's position will recommend a finalist this afternoon at the Board of Supervisors meeting.

Whomever the committee names will go before the full board for consideration and vote.

No official action on the recommendation is expected at the 1 p.m. meeting, and the new candidate is expected to be named for the position by June.
