LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO- The remains of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, his wife and the actor who played Scotty will go to the "Final Frontier" aboard an experimental solar sail craft planned by NASA next year. The remains will be part of a space archive developed by Celestis, based in Houston. For years it has offered a service that takes partial remains into space and brings them back. But this time, the remains will stay in space as part of the archive. The public can pay to have digital files, photos and DNA samples included. Hair from science fiction writer Arthur C. Clark will also be on this mission.
