BATON ROUGE - The Major League Baseball Draft left the Tiger baseball team relatively unscathed, as only five Tigers were drafted over the three-day period.

Tiger slugger Raph Rhymes who was selected in the 30th round by the New York Yankees has already said he will be coming back to campus for his senior season, however senior third baseman Tyler Hanover will be trying to further his career after going in the 33rd round to the Detroit Tigers.

LSU will practice this afternoon at Alex Box Stadium in preparations for their Super Regional game on Friday morning against Stony Brook University.
