Rapides Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found at a home in rural Deville east of Alexandria.

Sheriff's officials aren't releasing the identities of the couple, found shortly after noon Wednesday by family members.

Authorities haven't released how the man and woman died.

Deputies say the deaths appeared to be suspicious.
