BATON ROUGE – FEMA will open three more disaster recovery centers in East Baton Rouge, Tangipahoa and West Feliciana parishes Monday.

FEMA opened two disaster recovery centers in Tangipahoa and St. Helena parishes Sunday.

The centers will open at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until further notice at the following addresses:

East Baton Rouge Parish

5857 Greenwell Springs Rd.

Baton Rouge, La. 708006

Tangipahoa Parish:

42271 S. Morrison Blvd.

Hammond, La. 70443

Amite City Office Complex

721 S. First St.

Amite, La. 70422

St. Helena Parish:

53 N. 2nd Street

Greensburg, La. 70441

West Feliciana Parish

Independence Community Center

FEMA said Disaster Survivor Assistance teams are canvassing the flood impacted areas to register people for FEMA assistance if needed. Volunteers at the center will be available to answer questions about disaster aid and low interest disaster loans for homeowners.

Residents can register online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362.

FEMA says it is not necessary to visit a center to register for and receive federal disaster aid. If possible, survivors should register with FEMA before visiting a recovery center.
