WASHINGTON- Don't expect many empty seats the next time you fly.
The government says the average passenger load is nearing record levels with flights more than 83 percent full. Five of the top 10 all-time months for almost full planes were last year.
The strong demand for tickets may explain why the airlines are not in a hurry to reduce the price, with plummeting fuel costs. Jet fuel is the airlines biggest expense.
