BAKER- Federal investigators will arrive at the scene of a deadly plane crash early Saturday morning to begin combing through evidence.

Just after lunch, the plane plunged from the sky, clipped a house and burst into flames when it hit a second house off Rue Jennifer.  The house was destroyed and little was left of the plane except the propeller, which was distinctly visible among the wreckage.

The pilot was killed.

He was identified as John Fowler of Brookhaven, Mississippi.   No one was injured on the ground.
