NEW ORLEANS - Louisiana will share $12 million with 13 other states to build or expand databases of workforce data.
The Louisiana Workforce Commission will receive more than $999,000 from the U.S. Department of Labor.
States are to use the databases to conduct research to determine the effectiveness of employment and training programs.
