Father, son critically injured in BR motorcycle wreck
BATON ROUGE - A father and his 12-year-old son were taken to a Baton Rouge hospital with critical injuries after their motorcycle hit a car this afternoon, according to police.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said the son's injuries were worse than the father's, and that the wreck happened on Florida Blvd. near Flannery Road.
He said the motorcycle was traveling west on Florida when the call pulled out in front of it onto Florida facing south, and the motorcycle hit it.
McKneely said police are still investigating the crash.
