Father arrested after child is taken to hospital
BATON ROUGE - Police said they have arrested a 5-week-old girl's father on child cruelty charges.
Charles Robinson is in custody after the child showed up at a Baton Rouge hospital with severe burns.
Cpl. Don Coppola said the 5-week-old girl arrived at the hospital with burns on her legs, feet and backside.
He is charged with second degree child cruelty.
