Father and son dead after murder-suicide in Sulphur
SULPHUR – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Sulphur.
According to CPSO, deputies were dispatched on Sunday night to a home in Sulphur in regards to a Facebook post.
Kenneth Bacqué, 59, posted on social media that he was going to kill himself and may also harm his 4-year-old son who was at the home with him.
Deputies forced entry into the home once they arrived on scene and located Bacque' along with his son in a bedroom. They were both pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
The investigation is still ongoing, but it appears that Bacqué shot his son then shot himself, according to the Calacasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
