Former star of the "Golden Girls", Betty White, will host Saturday Night Live on May 8 following a campaign on Facebook urging the show make her the host. "SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels says he can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day weekend than with White. White is 88 and recieved a lifetime achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January. She recently starred in a commercial that debuted during the Super Bowl.
