Three weeks ago, Troy Evans took his four wheeler in the early morning hours out on LA-67, and it was the last ride he'd ever take.
An unknown driver hit Evans while he checked out the stalled four wheeler. While he lay in the road, a second car ran over Evans. His father, Fames Evans, and family say the pain of not knowing what happened is unbearable, but doing nothing is worse.
The family plans to work with Louisiana State Police to put up their own reward for information in the hit-and-run driver.
The family really hopes the driver responsible does the right thing and comes forward.
